Sharing Surveys Externally
You can share a survey with someone outside your organization so they can fill it out without needing a ScopeStack account. To get started, navigate to the Surveys page from the top menu.
Click the Share button next to the survey template you want to send.
On this screen: The “Take a Survey” tab showing a table of available surveys. Each row displays the Survey Name (with Take and Share action buttons), Description, Teams, and Tags columns. Clicking the Share button next to a survey opens the share modal.
A dialog appears asking for the email addresses of the people you want to share the survey with.
On this screen: The “Share Survey” modal dialog. It contains instructional text: “To Share this survey externally for completion, please enter the email(s) to which you wish to share.” Below that is an Email List field labeled “Email List (comma separated list of emails) *”. The modal has a Cancel button and a Share button.
After sharing, each recipient receives an email from ScopeStack with a link to take the survey. When they open the link, they are asked to verify their email address before proceeding.
On this screen: The “Validate Your Email To Access The Survey” modal dialog, shown immediately when the recipient opens the shared survey link. It prompts: “Enter the email Address the survey was sent to.” Below that is an *Email Address field. The modal has a single Validate button — the modal cannot be dismissed without entering a valid email.
Checking the Status of a Shared Survey
To see shared surveys and their status, navigate to the Surveys page and click the Shared Surveys tab. This shows all surveys that have been shared externally, along with their current status.
On this screen: The “Shared Surveys” tab showing a table of all surveys that have been shared externally. Columns include Survey Name, Status (e.g., Pending, Shared, Completed, Applied, Revised — with a “View Project” link for applied or revised surveys), Sent By, Sent To, and Sent On. The table supports sorting and pagination.
