Accessing the Service Catalog
The Service Catalog is a library of pre-built services you can add to your account as a starting point. If you’re new to ScopeStack or building out a new practice area, the catalog can save significant setup time.
The Service Catalog is available from the menu at the top right corner of your browser. If you don’t see this option, the Service Catalog has not been activated on your account — contact support to have it enabled.
On this screen: The top-right corner of the browser shows a navigation menu or dropdown. The Service Catalog option is listed among the other top-level navigation items. If this option is not visible, the feature has not been activated on your account.
Adding Services to Your Account
To add services from the catalog to your account, click the checkmark on the left of each service you want. After making your selections, you have two options:
- Just Import — adds the selected services to your account immediately, inside a Line of Business called “Imported.” You can configure the services after import.
- Add to Your Collection — opens a configuration step where you can set service attributes before importing.
On this screen: The Service Catalog displays a list of pre-built services available for import. Each row has a checkbox on the left side. At the bottom (or top) of the list are two action buttons: Just Import and Add to Your Collection. Just Import is available immediately when services are selected and adds them directly to a Line of Business called “Imported.” Add to Your Collection opens a configuration step before importing.
Configuring Services Before Import
If you select Add to Your Collection, a Configure Selection button appears. Click it to open the Service Mapping page, where you can edit the Line of Business, Phase, Resource, and Service Descriptions for each selected service. When you’re done, click Import Services to complete the process.
On this screen: The Service Mapping page shows a row for each service you selected from the catalog. Each row has editable fields for Line of Business, Phase, Resource, and Service Descriptions. After filling in the configuration for each service, an Import Services button completes the import and adds the configured services to your account’s standard service library.
Using Imported Services in a Project
Once services are imported into your account, they become part of your standard service library. You can add them to any project using the Add Services button on the Professional Services or Managed Services page.
The Add Services dialog lets you search and filter across all your standard services — including anything you imported from the catalog. For more on the Add Services flow, see Adding Professional Services.
