Creating a Custom Service
You can create custom managed services to be used in projects under Managed Services > Services. To add a custom service, click the Add a Service button in the top toolbar.
On this screen: The “Add a Service” modal shows three options: Add Services from Survey, Add Services from Blueprint, and Add from Standard Services. To add a custom service, close this dialog. At the bottom of the services list, a + Add Custom Service button inserts a new empty row directly in the table.
Defining a new Managed Service
Click + Add Custom Service at the bottom of the services list. A new empty row appears in the table with a green checkmark (save) and red X (cancel) on the left. Fill in the Service Name, Service Category, QTY, and Hours fields. When done, click the green checkmark to save the new custom service.
You can add a subservice to the service using the Add Subservice option in that service’s gear menu. Each subservice has its own name, quantity, hours, and resource.
On this screen: A new pending custom service row appears in the table with green checkmark and red X icons on the left. Fields for Service Name, Service Category, QTY, Hours, and Resource are editable. The row is highlighted in yellow to indicate it is a custom service. Clicking the checkmark validates the form and saves the row; clicking X discards it.
Editing after creation
Once your custom service is saved, it appears in the managed services table alongside any standard services. You can continue editing all fields directly in the table. The editor auto-saves changes as you make them — there is no separate Save button.
Custom managed services are highlighted in yellow so you can distinguish them from standard services.
Converting a custom service to a standard
If you build a custom managed service that you want to reuse on future projects, open the service’s context menu and select Save as Standard. This creates a copy of the service in Settings under Managed Services, where it becomes available in the Add Services flow for all future projects. See Saving Custom Services for details.
