Creating Blueprints in the Settings Menu

You can find blueprints under the Content section of the settings menu.

On this screen: The Settings menu is open with the Content section expanded, showing items including Managed Services, Professional Services, Blueprints, and Surveys. The Blueprints item is highlighted or selected.

From there, you can see a listing of Blueprints you have created in your account and either click on one to edit an existing Blueprint or select + ADD BLUEPRINT to add a new one.

On this screen: The Blueprints index page shows a table with four columns: Name, Code, Tags, and an actions column. Each row is clickable to open that blueprint for editing. The actions column contains a Duplicate button and a Delete button for each blueprint. At the bottom of the table, a + ADD BLUEPRINT link appears in the footer row.

If you add a Blueprint, you can give it a name, a code, and a tag. The Code and tag are helpful for organizational purposes.

On this screen: The new Blueprint form contains three fields in a single row: Name (text input, placeholder “Blue Print 1”, required), Code (text input, placeholder “BP1”), and Tags (text input with a note below reading “Comma-separated list of tags”). A Submit button and a Back link appear below the fields.

After you click Submit, a Services tab will appear, allowing you to see and add services to your Blueprint. You can also duplicate the blueprint by clicking the duplicate icon in the title bar.

On this screen: After saving, the blueprint edit page displays a tab bar with two tabs: Blueprint and Services. The Blueprint tab is active, showing the Name, Code, and Tags fields populated with the saved values. A duplicate icon button appears in the card header next to the blueprint title. A Submit button and a Back link appear below the form fields.

To add services, click the Services tab.

On this screen: The Services tab is active. The page shows two sections: a Professional Services table and (if the account has the managed-services-scoping entitlement) a Managed Services table. The Professional Services table has columns: Phase, Service, Resource, Quantity, and an actions column. The Managed Services table has columns: Service, Quantity, and an actions column. Both tables show “No items found” when empty. Each table has a footer row with an + Add Professional Service or + Add Managed Service button respectively. A Back button appears below both tables.

If you click the add item button, you will be able to select which services you want to add to the Blueprint. You will also be able to choose which resource you want to associate with that service in this Blueprint, along with the quantity of that service you wish to add to your project.

On this screen: The Add Blueprint Item form for Professional Services shows three fields in a row: Professional Services (a grouped dropdown organized by Line of Business, with services nested under each group), Resource (a dropdown of available resources), and Quantity (a number input with a minimum of 0). A Submit button and a Back link appear below.

On this screen: The Add Blueprint Item form for Managed Services shows two fields: Managed Services (a grouped dropdown organized by Line of Business) and Quantity (a number input). A Submit button and a Back link appear below.

Once you have finished adding services to your Blueprint, you can navigate to your project or create a new Project to use your Blueprint!
