June 2026 Changelog

June continued the rollout of the redesigned settings experience and added quality-of-life improvements to approvals and project notes, alongside a set of pricing and PSA fixes.

Approval settings now report failures clearly

When you save or delete an approver or approval level, the page now surfaces a clear, specific error when a change doesn’t go through — a permission error if your role can’t make that change, or a validation error if the configuration isn’t allowed. Previously some of these changes could fail quietly, leaving you unsure whether they took.

Redesigned settings pages

The work to modernize Settings continued across several pages. Each now opens as a paginated table with row selection for bulk actions and dedicated Create and Edit forms, matching the redesigned look already used across the rest of Settings. These are live for all accounts:

  • Clients — including a new Download CSV button in the header that exports your full client list (name, MSA date, domain, and any custom client fields), sorted alphabetically
  • Roles
  • Sales Executives
  • Contacts
  • Business Units and Vendors

Business Units, Vendors, and Clients also gained a Terms & Conditions tab for managing special conditions (below). The Terms & Conditions tab is available on plans that include that feature.

User management has a new home

The Users link has moved out of the Settings sidebar. You’ll now find user management under My Account → Users (the account menu in the top-right). The page itself is unchanged in what it does; only the entry point moved.

Update, July 2026: this move was reversed. User management is back at Settings → Users & Groups → Users, and the top-right menu is now User Profile (personal info and password only). See the July 2026 changelog.

Viewing the user list and managing it are now separate permission levels. You can give someone view access to see the roster without granting the ability to add, edit, or unlock users (manage). A user with neither sees only their own record. By default, the Admin role keeps manage access.

Open the notes panel on a service and you’ll see a few additions:

  • Edit and delete. Each note now has edit (pencil) and delete (trash) controls, not just add. Deleting asks you to confirm, and if you start editing a note and try to navigate away, you’ll get an unsaved-changes prompt. Edit and delete respect the notes management permission.
  • See the related service. When a note is attached to a specific service, the note view shows that service and its phase in a small table, with a link that takes you straight into the service editor with the notes panel already open.

Choose exactly what to copy when duplicating a project

Correction, August 2026: this was announced in error. It was not available when this entry published in June, and duplicating a project copied the whole project.

Update, September 2026: it is now in beta test as Release Project Blueprints V2 and can be switched on from Settings > Account > Account Preferences. See the Summer 2026 platform updates.

Special conditions on clients, business units, and vendors

Clients, business units, and vendors now have a Terms & Conditions tab where you can attach special conditions — contract clauses such as MSA language. Each condition carries its own status (active, optional, or skipped), and a business unit can set conditions that override the account defaults. (Available on plans that include Terms & Conditions.)

Pasted Word tables now come through cleanly

Copy a table out of Word and paste it into a service description or project note, and it now comes through intact, including tables with merged or spanned cells. Previously these could arrive garbled or be dropped.

Correction, August 2026: merged and spanned cells are not preserved. They are flattened into ordinary single cells, with the content kept in the first cell of each merged region, because the editor’s table format cannot represent a span. The rest of this item stands: tables that previously arrived garbled or were dropped now come through as real tables.

For integrators

  • Questionnaire sub-resources over the v2 API. Questionnaire sections, calculations, lookups, and recommendations each gained full create, read, update, and delete endpoints nested under /v2/questionnaires/{id}, so a questionnaire can now be built and maintained entirely through the API.
  • Upload and download members on project attachments. /v2/project-attachments gained upload and download members, so an integration can put a file on a project and retrieve it without going through the UI.

Early access

  • Unified approval workflow. Instead of separate Technical, Sales, and Business approval tabs, your approval levels appear in a single table you can drag to reorder, so approvals run in exactly the sequence you choose. It also adds technical-approval criteria and lets you designate sales approvers beyond the project’s Sales Executive. This is in early access with a limited group of accounts, enabled by ScopeStack; contact ScopeStack or your customer success manager to join.

Fixes

  • PSA push order. Governance items now push to your PSA in the order you’ve arranged them, rather than an arbitrary one. This affects ConnectWise, Autotask, and HaloPSA pushes.
  • HaloPSA governance milestones. Governance tasks now appear under their correct milestone phase in HaloPSA, instead of being skipped or attached to the wrong milestone.
  • Third-party pricing with no cost. A third-party line item entered with no cost (or a zero cost) no longer causes a pricing error or gets left out of the project’s pricing.
  • Material re-import pricing. Re-importing a material that already had a base rate no longer inflates its stored price; values round-trip correctly.
  • Product data import. Importing a product with a unit cost or price below its base amount no longer silently skips it.
  • Document delivery reliability. Document deliveries, including DocuSign e-signature requests, that could previously stall in a pending state are now detected and completed automatically.

Security & permissions

  • Upload file types are now restricted to an allowlist. If you try to upload a disallowed type to a project or a data import, it’s now rejected; SVG and executable files are no longer accepted. Data imports accept CSV, XLSX, ODS, and PDF only, so older .xls spreadsheets need to be re-saved as .xlsx. For images that were SVGs (for example, a logo), use PNG or JPG.
  • User lists respect the view permission. Retrieving the full list of users now requires the “view users” permission; a user without it sees only their own record. This pairs with the new view/manage split described above.
  • Password reset links expire sooner. For security, password-reset links now expire 30 minutes after they’re requested (previously 6 hours). If your link has expired, request a new one.
